These terms govern your use of NorthStar. By creating an account, using the service or purchasing a membership, you agree to them.

NorthStar membership

NorthStar offers monthly membership at £9.99 and an optional annual membership at £99. Prices include any applicable charges presented at checkout. Membership renews automatically unless you cancel through the Stripe billing portal before the next renewal date.

Refunds and cancellation

New members receive a 3-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to begin the trial, but you will not be charged until it ends. Unless you cancel before then, your selected monthly or annual membership will begin automatically. Refunds are not available after paid access begins. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the current billing period. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity under your account. Use NorthStar only for lawful purposes and do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the service, scrape it, or use another person's account without permission.

Your content and AI guidance

You retain ownership of the content you add to NorthStar. You grant us permission to process it solely to operate, secure and improve the service for you. AI guidance is provided for general productivity and reflection only. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial or other professional advice, and should not be relied on as such.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep NorthStar available and useful, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may change, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version will always be published on this page with its effective date.
